Hopkins Vikings Varsity pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Ezran Tehennepe singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
James Wubben led the Hopkins Vikings Varsity to victory on the pitcher’s mound. He went five innings, allowing one run on four hits and striking out seven. Cameron Kennedy threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kennedy recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Hopkins Vikings Varsity.
Cortright took the loss for Kelloggsville. He surrendered five runs on six hits over six innings, striking out five and walking one.
