The JV girls traveled to Kent City on Tuesday night with high hopes of defeating the Eagles. But the girls soon realized it would be harder than they thought. The Lady Vikes had a very rough first half, going into half-time down 8 to 41. Even though there was such a difference in the score, the girls didn’t let it get to them and went into the second half determined to make a comeback. With the Lady Vikes playing tough defense, Kent City only scored two more points in the 3rd quarter. In the second half, they outscored Kent City 14 to 9. But it wasn’t enough and the JV girls lost with a score of 22 to 50.
