The Freshmen Girls Basketball team played an amazing game on Thursday, Janurary 19th, against Ottawa Hills. Knowing that Ottawa was an undefeated team made the girls feel a little nervous and a lot of them were stuck wondering how they would play. They worked hard from the first tipped ball, to the last heart-wrenching basket. “We put our all in the game, even when we were down by 7 in the fourth. We never gave up and came out with the win of 34-32,” said starting point guard, Nicole Pavlak. The girls have yet to play more games. They have plenty of time and plenty of energy to get the wins they are searching for.
